Died at Advanced Age.
Readers of the REPUBLICAN will recall a lengthy article published some months ago concerning Rev. Daniel B. Leach of Bone Gap, Ill. Rev. Leach was an uncle of Mrs. Ed. Blakeman, Mrs. Chas. McMasters and Davis and Will Leach of Freeport. On February 12th he closed an active life of more than eighty-seven years, during more than sixty of which he was a member and clergyman of the Methodist church. The particular pleasure of his declining years was the large number of descendants that had grown up about him, they numbered six score.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows he was born Aug. 10. 1821 and is buried in the Bone Gap Cemetery in Gone Gap, IL.
