Miss Josephine Brorby Dead.
Josephine Brorby, who has been ill a long time with consumption and confined to her bed for several months, died last Saturday evening in her mother’s home in West Decorah. The deceased was born thirty-two years ago in Clayton county came with her parents to Decorah in 1884, since which time she has resided here. She was in every respect a splendid woman and unusually well liked by all who knew her, and will be missed not alone by her aged mother and her brothers and sisters, but also by her many friends and acquaintances as well. The funeral we held Wednesday afternoon at 2:30 from the United Lutheran church, Cor. Winnebago and Broadway, Rev. O. E. Schmidt officiating.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows she was born Oct. 8, 1876 and died Oct. 21, 1908. She is buried in the Lutheran Decorah Cemetery.
