George S. Vick, 59, former resident of Calmar township, died Friday September 23, at his home at Butte, Mont.

Funeral services and burial was at Butte.

Mr. Vick was born on a farm in Calmar township, the son of Mr. and Mrs John Vick. He grew up to young manhood here. He was baptized and confirmed at Decorah Lutheran church.

He was a veteran of the first World war, serving his county from the state of Montana. He left the Calmar community more than 30 years ago.
