THE SILENT REAPER.
C. T. Hoyme, one of the pioneer residents of the county, passed away last week Tuesday after a long illness at his home three miles south of this city. Deceased was a man of high character and strict integrity enjoying the confidence and esteem of a wide circle of acquaintances. The funeral was held last Friday at Union Prairie Church.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows this was Christopher who was born June 16, 1841 and died Sept. 22, 1908. He is buried in the Union Prairie Cemetery.
