OBITUARIES.
JAMES MCINTOSH.
Death came to the release of James McIntosh on Thursday last and on Sunday his remains were laid at rest. Deceased was born in Orleans township on August 20, 1870. When five years of age the family moved to Madison township, where they lived until five years ago when they came to Decorah to make their home. Two years ago James suffered from a stroke of lightning and this, no doubt, hastened his death, which was due to tuberculosis. During his months of suffering he has ever been patient and hopeful that recovery would be his portion, but to those about him and to his friends it has been known for some time that his days were numbered. Besides his mother he is survived by two brothers, Alex. and Clement, and one sister, Miss Netie. The funeral was held Sunday afternoon at the Congregational church, Rev. Dr. Willett officiating. The family have the sympathy of many friends in their bereavement.
