Died from Peritonitis.
George Holm, a young baker who has been assistant to his brother in the Ness bakery, died in the hospital at LaCrosse last Friday from peritonitis. He was taken to LaCrosse in hope that relief could be given him but his condition was too critical. His remains were brought back to Ridgeway where the funeral was held Sunday, Rev. Arneson officiating. Mr. Holm came to this country in September last and during the winter and spring was baker at Luther Col{l}ege.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows he was born Sept. 11, 1887 and died July 17, 1908. He is buried in the United Lutheran Cemetery.
