Mrs. Johnson, mother of our merchant Joseph Johnson, died at the home of her daughter Mrs. Talmo near Plymouth Rock Wednesday last. She has been a great sufferer and been unable to leave her bed for about six of seven years, and death came as a glad release. The funeral was held at the Morgan Lutheran church north of town Friday afternoon.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows this was Jokumine who was born May 14, 1827 and died July 8, 1908. She is buried in the Fremont Cemetery.
