A short service was held at the home, and afterward, the services were continued in the Methodist church at Kendallville, Iowa, Rev. John R. Utton of Harmony officiating. A large congregation were present to pay their respects tot heir old pioneer friend. The remains were laid beside his wife, with the thought of a happy reunion bye and bye.
