John Peterson and family received the sad intelligence last week of the death of Marie, who had been in a private sanitarium for the insane for several weeks. Her brother Otto went up to St. Paul and brought back her remains. The funeral was held in the Norwegian Lutheran church Friday afternoon. Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Novak of Wisconsin were here to attend the funeral. Mrs. Novak is a sister of the deceased. Mr. and Mrs. Blagvedt and the Misses Blagsedt of Decorah also attended.

Transcriber’s Note: Find Grave shows she was born Feb. 16, 1864 and died April 14, 1908. She is buried in the Calmar Lutheran Cemetery.
