Taken to Ossian for Burial.
Mrs. Gunla Sevold, step-mother of Mrs. Iver Iverson, died Saturday after an illness of some duration, aged about 67 years and 9 months. Mrs. Sevold was the second wife of one of the pioneers of Military township, The funeral was held Tuesday and the remains were taken to Ossian for burial beside the remains of her husband.

The body of Mrs. Sevold was brought here from Decorah on Tuesday for burial at the stone church north of town.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows the name spelled Gundla Savold. She was born in 1839 and is buried in the Stavanger Lutheran Cemetery.
