Geo. Bueneke was called to Maynard last week by the illness and death of his mother. The latter was buried on Sunday and that evening his brother Frank succumbed to pneumonia. The funeral was held to-day. It is seldom that double affliction is thus visited in one home. The relatives have the sympathy of numerous friends in Decorah.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows the name spelled Buenneke. The mother was Caroline who was born Oct. 14, 1835 and died Jan. 30, 1908. The brother was Frederick who was born June 30, 1860 and died Feb. 2, 1908. They are both buried in the Long Grove Cemetery in Maynard.
