Soren Hanson Engen passed away at his home in Madison twp., Thursday, Nov. 27 1913 at the age of 68. Death was due to several strokes of paralysis, the first of which occurred about four years ago.
He was born in Hakkedalen, Norway, and came to this country when six years old. In 1866 he married Brigitte Haatvedt. To them were born 10 children, six of whom survive.
