Death of Mrs. Timothy Ahern, Calmar.

Courier:--The death of Mrs. Timothy Ahern occurred at about one o’clock Thursday morning, at her home in this place, after suffering for two weeks from the terrible burns she had received. Misfortune has fallen heavily on that family, this instance painfully calling to mind the tragic death of the husband Timothy Ahern several years ago. She leaves one son, John T. Ahern, and two daughters, Mrs. Maggie Harding and Miss Mary Ahern. It is a sad affair and the bereaved have the heartfelt sympathy of the entire community.

Mrs. Ahern died Thursday morning from the burns which she received. The funeral was held Saturday morning in the Catholic church.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows this was Mary who was born in 1838.
