Nathan M. Morse was born in Dedham, Mass., Dec. 12, 1825, and died at Castalia, Iowa, April 25, 1906, aged 80 years, 4 months and 13 days. At the age of {?} our deceased moved with his parents to Lewiston, Main, and after several years moved to Danville, Maine. He came west to St. Paul, Minn., in 1893, where he lived until the death of his wife about six years ago, since which time he has made his home partly in St. Paul, but mostly with his sister Mrs. Angier. Mr. Morse has been an object of pity for some time and has failed very fast for the last few months. The intense suffering at the close of his life certainly makes the end of his earthly career welcome. He leaves two aged sisters—Mrs. Angier and Mrs. Lucy Merrill of San Francisco, Cal. He was a member in good standing of the I. O. O. F. Services were held at the home of Mrs. Angier, the Rev. Montgomery officiating. The body was shipped to St. Paul, where it was interred by the side of his wife. W. A. Gibbs accompanied the body to St, Paul.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows he is buried in Oakland Cemetery in St. Paul, MN.
