MORTALITY AT CALMAR.
The Courier of Last Week Reports These Three Deaths of Pioneer Mothers.

GRINDE.

Miss Anna Grinde, aged 87 years, died at the home of her nephews, Ole and Nels Grinde just north of town, Friday, Jan. 26, 1906. She was born in Norway, and came to this country 40 years ago, and most of the time since she has lived in this vicinity. She was confined to bed for two months prior to her death.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows an Anna Grinde buried in Calmar Lutheran; however, it shows she was born Nov. 1, 1928 which doesn’t agree with the above age and it doesn’t show date of death.
