MORTLITY AT CALMAR.
The Courier of Last Week Reports These Three Deaths of Pioneer Mothers.

BROIHIER.

Mrs. Broihier, wife of Joseph Broihier, Sr., died at her home at Festina last Friday afternoon Jan. 26, 1906, aged 58{?} years, the immediate cause of her death being hemorrhage of the brain. She had a long siege of typhoid fever last fall and she never regained her health and strength after that. She leaves a husband, three sons and four daughters to mourn her death. The funeral took place at Festina Monday and the attendance was very large.

Transcriber’s Note: The Festina Cemetery records show this was Julia and shows her year of birth as 1849.
