Mary Malli, 54, of Ft. Atkinson, Iowa, died Saturday, March 15, 1997 at U.C.M.H. in Decorah, Iowa, of cancer.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, March 18 at St. John's Catholic Church, Ft. Atkinson, with the Rev. Jacob Roth officiating. Burial was in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Waukon, Iowa.

Mary Ceceil Manton was born on March 6, 1943 at LaCrosse, Wis. to John and Mary (Marley) Manton. She received her education at St. George in Lansing, Iowa.

On Feb. 20, 1965 she married Robert K. Malli at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Lansing, Iowa. Mary lived in the Lansing area until 1965 when Mary and Robert moved to Waukon. They lived there until 1988 when they moved to Ft. Atkinson. She was employed at Lickety Split in Ft. Atkinson, and K & S Super Valu in Decorah.

Mary was a member of St. John's Catholic Church.

She is survived by her mother; husband; four children, Suzanne Malli, Rochester, Minn., Robert Malli, Washington D.C., Mike and Chrissa Malli, Decorah, and Patrick Malli, U.S.A.F. in Germany; a sister, Kathleen Keenan, McGregor, Iowa; and one granddaughter.

She was preceded in death by her father.

Pallbearers were Bill Keenan, Dick Keenan, Brian Keenan, Paul Farley, Ray Mullarkey and Robert Rausch.
