Mrs. J. P. La Valley passed away Wednesday afternoon at her home near Bonair, after a short illness. Funeral services will be held at 10 o’clock today at the home, Rev. Ferree officiating, and the remains will be taken to Burr Oak for burial.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows this was Sophia who was born Oct. 19, 1845 and died Dec. 27, 1916.
