Julius B. Loven Funeral Services Held at Glenwood
Funeral services were held Wednesday, Nov. 29, for Julius Benard Loven, 72. He died of a heart attack at his home in Waukon Sunday, Nov. 26.
The Rev. Olaf Brandt conducted the services at Glenwood Lutheran Church. Burial was in Oakland Cemetery at Waukon.
The pallbearers were William Loven, Orval Loven, Richard Loven, Russell Loven, James Allison, and Virgil Rosendahl.
Julius Benard Loven was born Sept. 25, 1895, in Glenwood Township to John and Mary Loven. He was educated in the rural schools.
Survivors include four brothers and two sisters: Albert and Henry of Glenwood Township, Carl, St. Louis, Mo., Roy, Waukon; Mrs. Anga Saak, Waukon; Mrs. Violet Rosendahol, Decorah.
Mr. Loven, who was a farmer and carpenter, moved to his present home in 1948. He had lived all his life in Winneshiek and Allamakee Counties.
He was a member of the Glenwood Lutheran Church.
