Since writing last there have occurred two deaths in our community which we are sad to say are Mrs. J. Moore and “Aunt Lima” Kneeskern. The former, who was 71 years of age, died May 27, 1895, of an ulcer in the stomach. She suffered intensely for several weeks. She left a husband and seven children to mourn her loss. The funeral was held in the M. E. church on Wednesday following, Rev. Stubbs officiating, the interment being made at the village cemetery.
