DIED.
GREEN—At Ossian, on May 24th Larken Green, aged 62 years. Funeral services were held on Sunday at the Ossian Opera House, Rev. G. W. Skilling, of Decorah, preaching the funeral sermon.
The remains were interned in the Centennial cemetery by Arcturus Lodge, A. F. & A. M., of which deceased was a member. The attendance upon these exercises were unusually large. The Opera House being scarcely sufficient to accomodate all who were present.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows his name spelled Larkin and that he was born in 1833.
