OBITUARY.
AMOS S. TAYLOR was born in Massachusetts on the 27th day of April, 1854, and died on Jan. 1st, 1895, at the home of E. B. Thomes in Hesper township. The deceased has made his home with his sister, Mrs. E. B. Thomes, for the last ten years. The sermon was preached by Rev. Hilburn, and the services were conducted at the M. E. church in Hesper, Iowa.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows he is buried in Hesper Public Cemetery but his gravestone shows he was born in 1840; however, it also shows Anna Thomes as his spouse instead of his sister.
