Sudden Death.
While walking on the long sidewalk on her way over from West Decorah, Friday last, Mrs. Young, mother of Jos. Young, was stricken with appoplexy and died instantly. Rev. V. Koren was walking behind her, and securing the assistance of a farmer who was passing, she was taken to Weiser’s drug store for care. Dr. Barfoot was called, but there was nothing to be done that could restore life. The funeral occurred Sunday, Rev. P. Garrahan, officiating.
