Miss Bertha Sydow, eldest daughter of Charles Sydow of Conover, died at that place of diphtheria on the 13th inst., and was buried in the Calmar cemetery on the 14th. The deceased was a most estimable young woman, and will be sorely missed in the afflicted household, where she had been the housekeeper since the death of her mother half a dozen years ago. Several other members of the family have been sick, but we understand are now out of danger.
