Wilton E. Bock, age 93, of Decorah, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, February 17, 2021 at the Barthell Eastern Star Home.
A private funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 20 at the Schluter-Balik Funeral Home in Decorah with Pastor Doug Bryce officiating. Burial will be in the Freeport Cemetery.

Wilton was born May 6, 1927 in Chicago, Illinois and attended Lane Technical High School. After early experience as a butcher, he began a lengthy career as an electrician. He participated in major construction projects in downtown Chicago, at O'Hare Field, and in the suburbs, often as a foreman. Wilton and Evelyn Olson were married at Immanuel Baptist Church, Waukegan, Illinois in 1953. He was an active church volunteer and sought to serve others through his involvement in churches in Chicago and suburbs. Mr. and Mrs. Bock began their move to northeastern Iowa in 1979, living at one time or another in or near Highlandville, Decorah, and Waukon.
He is survived by: his wife, Evelyn L. Bock; his brothers, Fred and Bob and Bob's wife, Barb; his children, Phylis (Clay) Brashears, Patricia (Joel) Kruse, Paula Bock, Andrew Bock, and Allan Bock; and his grandchildren, Anna Brashears, Linnea Brashears, Rosemary Brashears, Ethan Brashears, Nathan Kruse, and Melia Kruse.
Wilton was preceded in death by his father, Frederick P. Bock, his mother, Charlotte A. Bock, and his sister, Charlotte E. Bock.
Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his saints (Psalm 116:15).
