The funeral of the infant child of Phillip and Edith Potter was held from the Methodist church, Sunday afternoon, July 26th, Rev. J. Hilburn, officiating. It is a sad blow to the parents, who can say:

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows this was Alva who was born Oct. 2, 1894 and her gravestone shows she died July 25, 1896. She is buried in Burr Oak Cemetery.
