SHARPE—In Bloomfield township, April 24th, 1896, Benjamin Sharpe, in the 76th year of his age.
Deceased was born in Kings County, Ireland, came to America in his early manhood, and has for upward of thirty years been a resident of this township, where, by habits of industry, frugality and temperence, he had accumulated a competence. A practical Christian, his honesty, uprightness and reliability added beauty to his character. His mild disposition and pleasing manners were known to most of us, and we shall not soon forget “Uncle Benny", as he was familiarly called.
