MRS. H. J. HARDIN.
Mrs. Halstead J. Hardin died at Burr Oak, on Thursday last, peacefully falling asleep at the age of 63 years and was buried beside her husband on Friday. Deceased was the second wife of Mr. Hardin and was twice married, her first husband being names Atkinson. She was a sister of Henry and John Wingate, and was esteemed highly by her numerous acquaintances.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows she was born in 1837 and the last name spelled Harden. It also shows her maiden name as Willsie instead of Wingate. It also shows his first wife’s maiden name as Willsie so there may have been some confusion there.
