Death of an Old Resident.
John Hove, Sr., the aged father of Ole Hove, baggageman on the Milwaukee, died at his home near Fort Atkinson last week Wednesday evening. He was 76 years old and an old and respected citizen of that community. He leaves a wife and seven children, all of whom, except two, reside in this county.

Mr. J. P. Hove, one of Calmar’s old residents, died at his home on the 5th inst., and was buried Friday, the 7th.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows he was born July 28, 1823. He is buried in Calmar Lutheran Cemetery.
