—Emil Adolph Haakenson, the ten-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Martin Haakenson, died last Friday from consumption. He was a bright lad and a favorite among his schoolmates, and his parents feel deeply the affliction that has been placed upon them.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows he was born April 28, 1888 and died July 1, 1898. He is buried in Lutheran Decorah Cemetery.
