Died —Severin Johnson, last Friday, on the Ole Tenold farm northwest of town, where he was employed by Jacob Meyer & Co. as a farm laborer. He contracted measles about July 4th and not taking proper care complications set in that resulted in his death. He was a son of Isaac Johnson, of Eldorado. The funeral took place Sunday.

Transcriber’s Note: His gravestone shows his name spelled Severen and that he was born in 1880. He is buried in the Stavanger Lutheran Cemetery.
