Obesity Killed Him.
Caledonia, Min., Feb. 1.—John Johnson, a former resident of this, city, but now of Spring Grove, this county, died last night of obesity. He weighed at his death 438 pounds. Five years ago he only weighed 200 pounds. He was a hard drinker and his fast gaining in flesh is attributed to his enormous appetite and use of intoxicating beverages. He has taken anti-fat but with no effect. He was about 42 years of age.
