OBITUARY.
Died at Burr Oak, Jan. 28th, 1899, Glen Ross Briggs, only son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Briggs, aged 5 months and 25 days. The funeral services were held at the M. E. church, conducted by Rev. Wm. Cummings, who preached from 2d Samuel 12:23—“l shall go to him but he shall not return me.” A very large congregation manifested their sympathy with the bereaved parents “who sorrow not as those without hope.”

Transcriber’s Note: His gravestone in Burr Oak Cemetery shows he was born Aug. 3, 1898.
