Mrs. Cleghorn Passes Away.
Mrs. Helen Cleghorn passed away Wednesday morning at nine o’clock at her home in Cresco at the age of 71 years, and the remains were taken to Decorah for interment on Friday in Phelps cemetery, where her husband, who died several years ago, is buried. She leaves a son, Will, and two sisters, Mrs. A. J. McClaskey, of Decorah, and Dana Mason, with whom she has made her home for several years.

Cleghom.
Helen M. Mason was born in Milwaukee, Wis., on January 13th, 1840. She came with her parents to Iowa when she was twelve years of age.
She was married to Henry A. Cleghorn on October 25th, 1857. Three children were born of the union, William Cleghorn, who survives his mother, and two daughters, Clara and Grace, who have gone on before. She was widowed by the death of her husband on January 8th, 1882.
She is mourned by her son William, two sisters Mrs. Louisa McClaskey of Decorah and Miss Diana Mason of Cresco, one niece, Mrs. Mable Haase of Decorah and one grandson, Charles E. Cleghorn.
Mi;s. Cleghorn died on Wednesday morning, November 5th, and the funeral was conducted from her late home, Friday morning, November 7th, Dr. D. T. Robertson of the Congregational church, officiating. The body was taken to Decorah for burial.
Mrs. Cleghorn was an active member of the Eastern Star, where she will be greatly missed.
