CHARLEY BENNETT.
Monday morning at Waukon, Charley Bennet, son of our old friend L. W. Bennett, of Burr Oak, died from typhoid fever. We have no other particulars of the deceased’s life, but we knew him as a young man whose friendship was steadfast and whose death will be mourned by a large circle of personal friends and acquaintances of the family. The remains were taken to Burr Oak for burial on Tuesday and were accompanied by a delegation of the Waukon Odd Fellows and Woodmen, Mr. Bennett being a member of those orders. The funeral was held yesterday.
