OBITUARY
On Oct. 10th, 1900, the home of Mr. Conrad Gremm, of Canoe township, was made very sad by the taking away, by death, of his wife after a long siege of typhoid fever. Mrs. Louise Gremm, nee Schoo, was born Feb 17th, 1874, in Canoe township, where she lived till her death. In 1895, on the 15th day of October, she joined her lot in holy wedlock with her bereaved husband, Conrad Gremm. Two daughters were born to them, which with the husband and father are slowly recovering of a severe siege of typhoid fever under the care of Dr. Woodward.
Mrs. Gremm was a faithful member of the German M. E. church, and a loving dutiful wife and mother. May the God of all grace comfort the bereaved husband with his two small children,
Mrs. Gremm leaves besides her husband and two small children her father, mother, four sisters and many relatives and friends to mourn her so early death. The remains were laid in God’s Acre by the German M. E. church in Canoe twp. Services were conducted by Rev W. V. Schlung.

Transcriber’s Note: Her gravestone on Canoe German Methodist Cemetery shows her name spelled Luise.
