THE SILENT REAPER.
JOSEPHINE YOUNG SATTER.
On Tuesday of last week Mrs. Josephine Young Satter, wife of Gabriel Satter, living near Ridgeway, died at the home of her parents, John Young and wife, in Hesper township, after a brief illness. Mrs. Satter was first taken ill with quinsy, but after a week’s confinement improved sufficiently to be taken to her parental home. After reaching there she became worse and a complication of diseases set in which resulted in death. The funeral was held Thursday last. At the time of her illness Mrs. Satter was nursing a baby boy of fourteen months, and he too became ill. A few hours after his mother was laid at rest he joined her in the long sleep and on Sunday was buried by her side. Mr. and Mrs. Young and Mr. Satter feel deeply indebted to their friends for the kindly expressions of sympathy and the good deeds of neighbors in their bereavement.

Transcriber’s Note: Iowa Gravestone Photos show she is buried in Hesper Lutheran Cemetery and was born Feb. 28, 1879 and died Oct. 2, 1900.
