DIED.
HEXOM—At the home of her brother, Geo. Selsvold, in Decorah. Saturday, Sept. 29, 1900, from consumption, Mrs. Eliza Mathilda Hexom in her 33d year.
Mrs. Hexom was born in Glenwood township
and much of the recent years of her life have been spent in Decorah where she had many friends, Consumption fastened itself upon her early in the year, and recently she took a trip to Colorado hoping the climate would prove beneficial, but it was of no avail. Beside two children she leaves her parents, two brothers and seven sisters to mourn her death. The funeral was held Tuesday afternoon, Rev. B. Askevold officiating.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows she is buried in Lutheran Decorah Cemetery and was born Feb. 2, 1860.
