Wound Proved Fatal.
Last week our news columns chronicled a painful and dangerous rifle shot wound to Andrew Vick, of Canoe township. The ball passed up the leg from the knee to the abdomem, where it lodged. Monday last death came to Mr. Vick as a result of the accident. Deceased came to this country about four years ago, and was a native of Valders, Norway. He leaves a wife and four children to mourn his death.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows he is buried in Big Canoe Lutheran Cemetery and was born Jan. 3, 1843 and died April 30, 1900.
