Word was received Sunday last of the death of Thos. Halse, son of L. J. Halse, of Bluffton, in a Milwaukee hospital. He had been working on a railroad in Wisconsin and suffered an attack of typhoid fever, he did not let his parents know of his illness until too late for them to get to him. The family have the sympathy of many friends in their bereavement.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows he is buried in Burr Oak Cemetery and was born Oct. 1869 and died March 3, 1900.
