MRS. WALSH, widow of the late Ned Walsh, died at her home on Mechanic street last Friday, after an illness of several weeks. Deceased was born in Ireland in 1824 and came to this country in 1860, since which time most of her life has been spent in Decorah. One daughter, Mrs. A. K. Drake, and four grandchildren survive her. One sister also lives in Stubenville, Ohio. The funeral was held from the Catholic church, of which she was a devoted member, last Monday morning. Rev. Fr. Hawe officiating.

Transcriber’s Note: This is probably Fanny since the year of birth and date of death agree with the above. It shows her husband was Edward for which Ned was often a nickname.
