Mrs. Adams, mother of Mrs. Grant, who died in Fredericksburg last week of paralysis at the age of seventy-nine years and five months, was brought to this city and buried in Phelps cemetery last Thursday. Rev. and Mrs. Grant and Mr. Adams accompanied the remains and remained in the city a few days. Deceased was born In Jefferson Co., N. Y. and most of her life was spent in the east. Of a family of four children Mrs. Grant and a sister living In Cleveland (with the husband) survive her. A devoted wife and loving mother has passed to her reward.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows this was Nancy who was born July 22, 1822 and died Dec. 16, 1901.
