John Harsh died at his home two and one-half miles northwest of Canton, Wednesday morning at 9 o'clock. He was one of the earliest settlers in Fill¬ore county having come in 1856.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows he is buried in Lenora Cemetery in Lenora, MN and that he was born Aug. 26, 1820 and died Nov. 6, 1901.
