No children were born to this union but during their married life they adopted a daughter and in later years a son. The daughter, Mrs. Etta {?}naway, and the son, Ernest Wilson, with the husband are left to mourn for her. She joined the M. E. church with her husband in August, 1895, of which she was a member in good standing at her death. Her sickness was severe and death came suddenly but found her ready. She was a devoted wife and mother. Her neighbors commend her for her kindness. The cause of her death way{sic} congestion of the brain, with complication of other diseases.
