—John Schissel, of Fort Atkinson, was found dead in his bed last Friday morning when a member went to call him. Whether death came to him while he slept is not known, but heart disease was the cause. Chas. Broghammer went over from Decorah to attend the funeral, returning Monday.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows he is buried in St. John’s Cemetery and was born Aug. 2, 1839 and died March 14, 1901.
