A five months’ old babe of Mr. and Mrs. C. C. Thornton died last Thursday after a few hours’ illness of congestion of the lungs. The funeral occurred from the U. B church here on Saturday at 1 o’clock p. m., the Rev. Rosa officiating. This is the second similar affliction and the afflicted family surely have the heartfelt sympathy of the entire community.
