The Death Record.
Mr. K. Vigen, one of the pioneers of Pleasant township, died at the home of his son, A. W. Knutsen, of this city, last Thursday evening. Mr. Vigen was born in Norway in 1820 and came to this country in 1852. A year later he located on Washington Prairie and then moved to Pleasant township, where he lived for many years. His wife died in 1889. The funeral was held at the Big Canoe church on Sunday last.

Transcriber's Note: Big Canoe Lutheran Cemetery shows he was born Dec. 5 1820 and died Feb. 7, 1901. Also his first name was Knud.
