Violet Styve, age 92, of Decorah, died Tuesday, June 22, 2004, at the Barthell Eastern Star Nursing home in Decorah after a short illness. Funeral services were held Friday, June 25, at First Lutheran Church in Decorah with Rev.Marion Pruitt Miller. Burial was in Lutheran Cemetery in Decorah. Schluter-Balik Funeral Home in Decorah was in charge of arrangements.

Survivors include two daughters, Charlene Brainard of Waukon and Roselyn Lensch of Decorah; one son, Mark Styve of Waterloo; and a sister, Edna Fisher of Decorah.

Note added by Joy Moore - Find a Grave shows she was born May 11, 1912.
