Prof. Fred Clark Dead.
P. W. Clark is in receipt of a telegram advising of the death of his brother, Prof. Fred Clark, which occurred at three o’clock yesterday morning at Ottumwa, where he had been conducting a business college. No particulars are obtainable at this hour either concerning his death or burial arrangements. The remains will probably be brought to Riceville, his early home
Prof. Clark was for a number of years a successful teacher in this county, and at Calmar and Ossian, and later in the state institutions of Dakota.—Riceville Recorder.
