MRS. LIZZIE MARTINEK
Died, at the home of her son Frank in east Fort Atkinson, Saturday morning, Oct. 19th, 1902, Mrs. Lizzie Martinek, at the age of 83 years. She was born in Bohemia, Nov. 8th, 1819, coming to this country with her husband in 1854. They came to Dubuque where they resided for three years, moving from there to Washington township, Winneshiek county, where she resided until her death. The funeral services were held Tuesday morning from the Catholic church in this city. The remains were followed to their last resting place by a large number of friends and relatives.—Fort Atkinson Times.
